Important information regarding phishing e-mails

Every now and then, the employees / students are targetted with malicious email. They may ask you to provide your login-credentials/credit card numbers and such. Do not reply to these e-mails. The IT-department will never request your credentials / credit card numbers by e-mail. Please delete these messages without replying to the sender.

If these messages contains attachments or links, and the sender is not known to you, do not click on any attachments or links.
If you suspect that some message is in fact a phishing-mail, please don\'t hesitate to contact support: support@gu.se or by phone 786 2020.

SMS-information:
Staff and students at the University of Gothenburg can subscribe to operational information via SMS (in Swedish). You will then receive an SMS in the event of serious incidents and disruptions. Whether a SMS is sent or not is determined by the nature, extent and degree of impact of the incident, and the assessment is made on a case-by-case basis.

Start a subscription by contacting us via e-mail driftinfo@gu.se. Enter name, mobile number and x account or gus account.

Regular system maintenance
Planned system maintenance is carried out regularly, usually on the third Wednesday of the month.
