At this very moment an e- mail is sent where you are asked to click on a link and log in to your webmail, this link is fake. This is a phishing attempt with the goal of retrieving your accountname and password. ITS will never send any such e- mail where you will be asked to send your personal information like password etc.

Staff and students at the University of Gothenburg can subscribe to operational information via SMS (in Swedish). You will then receive an SMS in the event of serious incidents and disruptions. Whether a SMS is sent or not is determined by the nature, extent and degree of impact of the incident, and the assessment is made on a case-by-case basis.

Start a subscription by contacting us via e-mail driftinfo@gu.se. Enter name, mobile number and x account or gus account.
