Serious security holes in QuickTime
IT has decided to uninstall QuickTime for Windows on all clients in DAFGU environment.
The action is due to a number of serious security flaws in software that arose in that Apple has stopped updating it.
This includes both environment for staff and students
and can affect other applications that use QuickTime to work , such as NVivo.
We strongly recommend other users on GU to uninstall it to prevent unauthorized access to your computers.
